Savy King of Hearts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives. It began with a simple truth: sometimes life gives you a second chance, and what you do with it can change everything. Founded by professional soccer player and Angel City FC defender Savy King, the organization was born out of her own life-changing experience.

Service: Custom brand + website + event assets

“Working with Larissa at Ravel Brands has been such a great experience. She came highly recommended by someone we trust, and we quickly understood why. She takes the time to genuinely get to know you, your story, and what you’re trying to build. Because of that, her ideas feel personal and intentional rather than something that could have been created for anyone.

She is also a perfectionist in the best way and pays attention to every detail. What started with a logo and website has grown into an ongoing relationship across our merch, branded event materials, and so much more. She truly cares about the meaning behind the work, and that shows in everything she creates.

We look forward to working with Larissa for many years to come and couldn’t recommend her more highly.“

Where we began

Savy’s mom contacted me from a direct referral in 2025 to assist with the design of their newly formed organization, Savy King of Hearts. I wanted to ensure that the level of design I brought to this project matched Savy’s energy and the hope that this organization provides through its heart health resources and events.

The logo design

I had an idea pretty quickly about the icon I wanted to create for the brand. Her initials “S” and “K”, with a negative space heart in the center. After several iterations, I knew this was the one, Savy and her team agreed!

The color palette

The hot pink represents her bright personality while the deeper purples not only balance the pink, but help convey the seriousness of the mission.

The web design

The homepage features the high contrast of the color palette, and a double viewport height video background of Savy in action on the field. With a feature to her story “Minute 74,” we quickly bring attention to overall mission.

The website highlights the different aspects of Savy’s career: Supporters, Angel City teammates, the Cedars Team, Nike brand sponsorship, USYNT, and other Survivors.
